School Site Council

The School Site Council (SSC) is a committee of parents and teachers that work together to develop an effective curricular and instructional program in which all students may achieve academic excellence. The SSC is responsible for allocating and monitoring funds. The SSC also works with the administrator and staff on developing and revising the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). The SCC approves the plan and recommends it to the Oceanside Unified School Board. Members of the SSC are elected to serve a two-year term and are required to attend monthly SSC meetings.
